I took this photo of my friend mid trick, it reflects one of my best hobbies that is skateboarding.
I am very passionate about skateboarding as it has made me more confident socially and in myself. It gives me regular exercise and it helps me to clear my head through rough times. It has also influenced me in the imagery that I am drawn too, I enjoy looking at skateboard graphics both from the past and present seeing how the culture around skateboarding has changed the imagery used at the time.

This digitally made collage shows successful visual communication. It includes the band logo created by myself that is easy and clear to read over top the imagery. The logo itself is reflective of the grunge, alternative aesthetics of the band.

This is one of my favourite books as is it combines both illustrations and skateboarding in an imaginative way. It contains skateboarding photos and interviews alongside features from current illustrators working in the skate industry.
